LONDON (SE) - With Premier League protection all but guaranteed Fulham turn their attention to breaking a 64-year-old hoodoo if they visit Everton this weekend. Fulham (10-10-14) have not won a game at Goodison Park, losing on 20 of these 24 sessions simply because they first played in 1949. They have not managed a spot at the house of Saturday's opponents since 1959. Martin Jol, could have been three years old the last time the side he currently controls got away unscathed from the half of Merseyside and he is well aware of the old concern experiencing Fulham on Saturday. "Everton is not an easy team for us," Jol told the team website. "For Fulham, it is no easy surface so we've to try to do some things differently and try ahead up with a result. They are a really steady team and, needless to say, depend on the people. Marouane Fellaini, for example, if he's there they have got a little something extra. "Of course they have got that type with one of these full-backs, being very small and very tidied, therefore I feel that they have had a season that is more regular than before probably. They are always in the top nine - the top seven sometimes - but now they are getting stronger and stronger. I do believe that Everton may end up in the top five - these were even yet in contention to be in the top four." Over the years the Cottagers have managed a couple of victories in FA Cup sixth circular connections at Goodison, but the last of the was in 1975 and they have lost seven consecutive suits there. Not surprisingly record of woe, Toffees goalkeeper Tim Howard contends once the teams take the field the record books may count for nothing. "The record appears good and hopefully we are able to add to it," he told the club web site. "But I do believe every game is a unique single thing. These games aren't planning to really matter if the whistle blows on Saturday. "It is good to note that and it offers probably an extra incentive and motivation. But for probably the most part, it indicates nothing." Fulham's task will not be manufactured any easier by the Toffees' remarkable house form this year. Everton (14-14-6) have just one home reduction this season (to Chelsea) tying Man City for fewest home defeats in the department. The last time Everton went a complete year with just one home defeat was in 1986-87, their last title winning strategy. Only the two Manchester factors have significantly more things than Everton on home soil in 2013. Along with the historical winless streak, Fulham will soon be looking to end a scoreless streak that stretches to 204 minutes. That ability also includes 428 minutes if you exclude the own goals scored by QPR's Clint Hill and Aston Villa's Fabian Delph respectively. Using these under consideration, no Fulham person has scored in the Premier League since Dimitar Berbatov netted against QPR on Apr. 1. Everton will also be on an extended goal famine having been shut out in back-to-back fits. All told, it's 214 minutes because the Toffees have won. Darron Gibson, Victor Anichebe and Phil Jagielka are all unlikely for your home side prior to the match. Emmanuel Frimpong can be acquired for Fulham after being ineligible to perform against his parent team, Arsenal, a week ago. Sascha Riether will undoubtedly be evaluated ahead of the game. Simon Davies, Ashkan Dejagah and Mahamadou Diarra are typical out as is Steve Sidwell, who is suspended after being sent down against Arsenal. A last-gasp equalizer was netted by sidwell once the sides fulfilled at Craven Cottage in November. Bryan Ruiz offered Fulham the lead before a double from Fellaini appeared to possess secured the things for Everton until Sidwell's late treatment.
