Olivier Giroud's FA boost over Fulham red card suspension - Sunlight

On Saturday the Arsenal striker received a three-match bar for his red card at Fulham. Ref Andre Marriner sent off the Frenchman late on for a foul on opponent Stanislav Manolev during the Gunnersa 1-0 win at Craven Cottage. Giroud stated he slipped as he went for his claim was rejected by the ball but an FA independent regulatory commission for wrongful dismissal. Giroud said: aI was very amazed at the judgment as my action was accidental. aIt does not harm me nevertheless the principles in England are actually very hard.
