The Michigan football team has had its fair share of incidents within the last year or so, and Saturday's spring game was a great indicator of where several of those men stay. Beginning with the most crucial place on the field, Russell Bellomy's injury left Michigan with Devin Gardner as its only scholarship quarterback. Because of this, Brian Cleary and Alex Swieca wound up seeing nearly all the photographs on Saturday. Bellomy probably will not play within 2013, putting Michigan's quarterback situation in somewhat of an unstable situation. However, the long run is quite bright with Shane Morris and eventually Wilton Speight coming in. Moving forward to working back, Fitz Toussaint didn't engage at all in the scrimmage, which was not a shock. Nevertheless, the fact that he should be right back for the opener against CMU was a pleasing surprise. Michigan really has not had any significant injuries across the offensive line previously year apart from Chris Bryant. He saw sufficient time on Saturday, and it seems that he is completely healthier again. Bob Wormley was the primary injury along the defensive line, as his whole newcomer period was lost due to it. But, he seemed excellent in the spring sport and should really be considered a big factor this fall. Joe Clark was also wearing some sort of cast or protective gear using one of his arms, however it didn't appear to obstruct his play at all. Dave Ryan appeared on the sideline in crutches, but the proven fact that he might return by mid-October was a breath of fresh air for the son. Finally, the past significant injury information of note surrounds Blake Countess. He took part in warm-up exercises but didn't play in the scrimmage. Like Toussaint, he'll absolutely be ready for the opener against CMU, nevertheless. Incidents are certainly expected, but the good news is this staff is healing up. A straight larger issue may be the proven fact that Michigan has guys who can step in and be just like profitable when the man before them goes down. Depth has not been seen by us that way with this staff in a significant while. This group is approaching the main point where it'll have the luxury to refill when it loses talent, not repair.
