Chelsea FC face hard four games in nine days - Oscar - Crunchsports.com

Chelsea playmaker Oscar admits the Blues face a week because they prepare to play four games in nine days. Chelsea go Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday then have an Cup quarter-final replay against Manchester United on Easter Monday. The Blues then play host to Rubin Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday, before three days later going to Sunderland in the Premiership. Oscar, who played for Brazil within their 1-1 draw with Russia at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening insists it's usual to play several games in rapid succession at a huge club, but admits a fixture pile-up such as this one is a new comer to him. "There are so many activities at this time, and these are important," he said. "We have Southampton first and then Manchester United 48 hours later. But that is just how it always are at a club like Chelsea. "We usually have a large amount of activities, though probably four in a week - this week even as we have - is a bit different." Interim boss Rafael Benitez has turned his squad around possible and will continue to achieve this in the coming days. And while the west London outfit chase achievement in the FA Cup and Europa League and visit a top-four finish in the Premier League, Oscar demands no sport will soon be taken lightly. "We need certainly to play and sleep as most useful we can," he added. "It is a week that could be important for the year. We've activities in all three remaining tournaments, but weare not convinced that you could be more important than the other. "We want to get all of the games and we want to do as well as we may in all the competitions. We wonat lose one for the others."
