Real Madrid vs. Barcelona: : TV schedule and preview for another ...

Real Madrid hosts Barcelona in the final league meeting of the season between the two rivals. It's not an important game for either side so it's a bit hard to predict what kind of match we'll see, but it's a derby so that's still fun.

Alright, so maybe this second meeting between Real Madrid and Barcelona this week isn't nearly as interesting as Tuesday's cup match. Fine, that's true, but it's still a meeting between two rivals and that's always worth a few minutes of your time.

Jordi Roura should, and probably will, start most of his regular players since Barcelona don't have any mid-week match during the coming week. In addition his team is on a horrible run of form and while several players could use a rest, they probably could use some more match time to try to work out some of their issues. That's a fancy way of saying that we have no idea what kind of lineup we'll see from Barca.

Jose Mourinho is expected to rest several starters to keep his team fresh ahead of their far more important Champions League match against Manchester United. Marcelo, Luka Modric, Kaka and Karim Benzema are the most likely candidates to get starts after not playing in the Copa del Rey win over Barcelona.

Lionel Messi is expected to play despite suffering from a fever in the mid-week. Xavi is out for two more weeks are suffering his second hamstring injury of the year while Alex Song is a minor doubt with a knee injury. Angel Di Maria is serving a red card suspension after being sent off against Depor last weekend.
