Aston Villa allow a lead slip once more this season as Fulham grabbed a share of the ruins in a 1-1 draw. Charles N'Zogbia broke the deadlock for Paul Lambert's area ten minutes to the second half with a wonderful curler. But Fulham struck right back and once the sad Fabian Delph went in to his or her own web from a corner they restored parity. Fulham suffered a setback in the 10th second when Damien Duff was forced off with a knee injury and changed by Stanislav Manolev within an otherwise quiet starting time. Ashley Westwood's 24th-minute place caused Fulham an instant of anxiety before Benteke side-footed over from towards just outside the six-yard box when he needs to have put into his total tally of 19 objectives from Andreas Weimann's ball in. N'Zogbia saw a left-footed shot right at Schwarzer parried over and Andreas Weimann sent a half-volley extensive shortly before half-time as Fulham reached the break pleased to be on a level keel. Villa held up the pressure from the system but they were nearly tried on the table in the 50th minute when Ruiz's outstanding cross found an apparently offside Berbatov, limited to the Bulgarian to extend his low shot onto the outside the left-hand post. Villa's force eventually told in the 55th minute. Matthew Lowton discovered Weimann in the box and though Brede Hangeland blocked the Austrian's effort, N'Zogbia had time to move the ball onto his left foot and extend it into the left-hand corner. The equalizer got in the moment. Ruiz's place from the right needs to have been dealt with comfortably at the near post but Villa midfielder Delph contrived the show the ball backwards with his mind, leaving Brad Guzan rooted and Ashley Westwood not able to struggle it away before it crossed the line. The hosts had an excellent opportunity late in the overall game when Delph wasted the ability to atone for the own target, shooting a loose ball at the trunk post large and wide together with his left foot from Weimann's teasing combination. The idea did support Villa transfer three points clear of the drop zone with five games outstanding while mid-table Fulham achieved the 40-point mark.
