Brian Lee Makes Instant Effect in Surprise Second-Round Debut.

But the Golden Declare Warriors' All-Star forward lands on his best impression for the New York Knicks legend, as Lee reappeared just as before in Game 3 for the Western Conference semifinals with San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Lee, who suffered what was supposed to be a season-ending hip flexor tear in Game hands down the opening round against that Denver Nuggets, has today appeared in two games since. Lee played within just a minute-and-a-half in Game 6 of the Warriors' series-clinching victory on May 2.

On Feb 5th, Lee appeared again for three minutes inside the second quarter, scoring several points and grabbing a few rebounds.

On his first offensive possession within the game, he grabbed a particular offensive rebound and obtained an and-1 putback. He then knocked down a mid-range jumper from atop the main element.

Warriors coach Mark Jackson said prior to a game that he may also use Lee in spurts associated with minutes, but nothing nearly as extensive as being the 25-minute mark. Lee will more than likely need offseason surgery to to your injury.

Willis Reed, the captain of the 1970 Knicks, returned for Game 7 associated with a Finals championship after getting his thigh muscle with Game 5. It's considered the greatest surprising return, or moment of having fun with hurt, in NBA historical past.
