David Rooney has told Manchester United to organize for just one last drive over the Barclays Premier League name line. United's victory at Stoke yesterday means they now need only seven more points to maintain accurate documentation 20th champion. With both the Red Devils and Manchester City in action on Wednesday, the finish may come as quickly as next Sunday, when Roberto Mancini's men visit Tottenham. However mere common sense will allow some form of conjecture. In addition, the United employer has said he needs Shinji Kagawa to benefit from his first season in English football, and obviously, the Japan star is more worthy of a key position behind a main striker than any. And speculation about further fighting supports will not disappear, with stories Ferguson sent his chief scout, Jim Lawlor, to confirm Atletico Madrid front-man Radamel Falcao over the week-end following past obvious interest in Kagawa's former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Robert Lewandowski. Should either man, or any alternative, arrive at Old Trafford, some type of sales could be certain. And while Ferguson mentioned last month that Rooney could be provided a fresh agreement in the summertime, there's already been a suggestion it may contain some sort of pay cut from the mega-deal agreed subsequent Rooney's transfer request in 2010 that's because of expire in 2015. That might check Rooney's personal record that he is happy in the north west as, at 27, his next deal addresses what are supposed to be his primary years.
