Former Ravens LB Ayanbadejo considers gays being released

BALTIMORE (AP) a Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo says around four NFL players might soon emerge as gay, in accordance with a published statement. "I think it will happen sooner than you think," Ayanbadejo informed The Baltimore Sun. "We are in talks with a number of people who are considering it. There are up to four players being written to today and they are trying to be prepared so they will come from the exact same time together. It would make a significant splash and simply take the pressure off one man. If your handful or perhaps a few guys turn out It would be a amazing time. "Of course, there would be backlash. If the backlash could be shared by them, it'd be more good. It is great. It's fascinating. We're in talks with a couple of men who are considering it. The NFL and businesses already are being open and practical if a person does it and if something bad happens. We'll see what happens." The treating athletes and gays is just a hot topic. Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice was fired this week for pushing, pushing and tossing balls at players in November, and addressing players with homophobic slurs. Athletic Director Tim Pernetti resigned after critique for just suspending and fining the instructor after the video was delivered to his attention. Ayanbadejo, 36, was slice the Ravens earlier this week. A solid supporter of gay marriage, he initially proposed the lineup shift stemmed from his controversial stance. He backed off that place in an interview with The Sun. "If they didn't like what I was doing, they'd have cut me quite a while ago," Ayanbadejo said. "I am a special-teams player and you'll find someone to complete what used to do for less than half that value." Ayanbadejo talked openly about his opinion in gay marriage in the days prior to the Super Bowl. That echoed a stance he took in November, before Maryland voted to pass a law approving gay relationship. "It is some thing I have been passionate in regards to a long time," he explained after the election. "Even though it does not influence me directly, it affects plenty of my friends. My family is affected by it. It affects Ravens supporters. It affects Marylanders. I've worked very difficult on it; I am especially happy with the Marylanders who went out and made and voted a difference."
