Winners and Losers of the NHL Playoff Week-end

After dividing the first two games in Montreal, the Canadiens hoped to assert themselves as they visited Ottawa to face the Senators in the third game of their playoff series. Montreal thought its exceptional skating and bad skill will give them the side, even if these were playing on the highway. But, the Senators outworked, outhit and outplayed the Canadiens and got a 2-1 lead into the final period. When Senators rookie Jean-Gabriel Pageau won an early target for the Senators to provide a two-goal lead to them, the Canadiens fell apart. They got blitzed 4-0 in the third time as Carey Price continued to have late-season problems. Moreover, the Canadiens lost their great and engaged in hooliganism that's no more frequently seen in the NHL. Head coach Michel Therrien did actually inspire his staff to do something in a childish way, when the Canadiens needed authority. The Canadiens path by way of a thin 2-1 margin in the line, but they have miles to go to recapture their target and poise.
