Tribal Football claims the 25-year-old has been monitored by scouts published by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. It's recognized that Ferguson is looking to strengthen his main place in front of next year and is looking for a partner for playmaker Michael Carrick. The Argentina international, who attained the Hawthorns from Racing Club in summer time, is on a three-year contract.
